Fight against antibiotic resistance: Amukin (amikacin) available again

Het FAGG doet inspanningen om essentiële antibiotica op de markt te houden of te brengen. Een positief resultaat daarvan is dat Amukin na drie jaar afwezigheid op de markt nu opnieuw beschikbaar is.

L'AFMPS s'efforce de maintenir ou de mettre sur le marché des antibiotiques essentiels. Cet effort a notamment conduit à un résultat important : Amukin est à nouveau disponible après trois ans d'absence du marché.

Het FAGG volgt systematisch de beschikbaarheid van antibiotica en alternatieven op. Voor nieuwe antibiotica contacteert het FAGG proactief vergunningshouders om commercialisatie in BelgIë voors te stellen. Voor antibiotica waarvan de commercialisatie wordt gestopt zoeken we via overleg met de betrokken vergunninghouders of andere firma’s oplossingen. Als gevolg van dat overleg hebben de Laboratoires Delbert aangekondigd dat Amukin 500mg/2ml oplossing voor injectie sinds 17 januari 2022 opnieuw beschikbaar is.
L'AFMPS surveille systématiquement la disponibilité des antibiotiques et des alternatives. Pour les nouveaux antibiotiques, l'AFMPS contacte de manière proactive les titulaires de l’autorisation de mise sur le marché pour proposer leur commercialisation en Belgique. Pour les antibiotiques dont la commercialisation a été interrompue, nous recherchons des solutions en consultant les détenteurs d'autorisation de mise sur le marché concernés ou d'autres entreprises. Suite à une telle consultation, les Laboratoires Delbert ont annoncé que la forme Amukin 500mg/2ml solution injectable sera à nouveau disponible à partir du 17 janvier 2022.
