The 11th TOPRA Annual Symposium 2014

TOPRAs 11th Annual Symposium, discussing the theme ”Matching modern regulation with modern medicine – a patient centered approach to regulatory affairs?”, takes place in Brussels in The Square this October.

This years Annual Symposium is organised in conjunction with the Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAMHP) Belgium and the Belgian Regulatory Affairs Society (BRAS).

Along with BRAS, the FAMHP will organise a showcase entitled
“The FAMHP with focus on the patient” on Monday 13 October.

This showcase consists of two sessions:
In the first session, the FAMHP’s new business plan, with a central focus on the patient, will be highlighted.
This session will give a deeper insight into the way the Centre of Excellence,
Early Phase Development (EPD), is developing in Belgium and
how it is aligned within the European regulatory network.

In the second session, the FAMHP viewpoint on the Falsified Medicines Directive will be shared, and another FAMHP’s Centre of Excellence, Vaccines, will be discussed through the regulatory pathway.
